The 4th edition of Art Safari Bucharest aims to be the coolest exhibition of the most recent contemporary art. As Romanians’ interest for fine international cultural events is highly increasing in the past years, Art Safari is dedicating them a full month to heartily enjoy it (19 May – June 18, 2017).
The art lovers in Bucharest will for sure be kept busy these days, as art galleries from around the world gathered to showcase the newest pieces of modern and contemporary works. Romanian art is not at all left behind, as it will have its share of spotlight in the very Central Exhibition of Art Safari. The Central Exhibition is curated by the international expert Wim Waelput to focus on identity and geopolitical conditions of the Romanian art. The historical view will embark the visitors quite on an artistic journey to please their hearts and be a joy to the eyes.
What we truly love about the Art Safari events is that they host their annual events in some of the most beautiful, but forgotten venues. As in the previous years Ciclop, and Dacia-Romania Palace got their share of renewed fame, now it’s time for the amazing classic Italian architecture building of Kretzulescu Galleries (Calea Victoriei 45) to shine.
A rich educational program was also included in the Art Safari Fair of 2017, and kids will have their good share of fun through the Art Safari Kids program. What can be more educative and pleasurable than creative painting, sculpture and collage workshop designed just for them?
