If you find yourself in Bucharest in August and you want to have fun, listen to some good music and get a glimpse of the energy of Romanian people, then Summer Well Festival on 8-9 August at Stirbey Palace is the place to be. We’ve found some convincing reasons why it’s worthy to take it into consideration:

  • You will feel the bass vibrations in your stomach next to the beautiful trees and the grass that will move to the rhythm of Kasabian, Foals, La Roux, The Maccabees, The Wombats, Jungle, Kwabs, Foxes, Circa Waves and Sohn. With young and beautiful people, all united by the music and the good energy, you’re bound to have fun!
  • Stirbey domain is wild, fresh and natural and it has to be; surrounded by nature, you can sit in a hammock or directly on the grass while drinking a cocktail and chatting with some interesting new friends.
  • It is only thirty minutes distance from Bucharest and important piece of our city’s history. The Palace was built between 1855-1864 by Barbu Stirbey, Romanian prince of our modern country. Important figures were often guests of the Stirbey Domain, even Queen Mary herself, spent many afternoons there.
  • You can visit the lovely Stirbey Palace, but also the Holy Trinity Chapel or relax next to the swans and geese by the lake. There are bridges, narrow paths and little birds cottages in the trees, so you can have some time with yourself and your thoughts before getting wild, when the concert begins.
