Romania is little known for its vegan cuisine. Although they do enjoy their meats, during the fast periods, for religious purposes mainly, Romanians turn completely vegans for quite a few session of fast throughout the year.
The Brancovenesc style, also known as Wallachian Renaissance or Romanian Renaissance, is an art dating back to the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
