If you decided to take a trip to Bucharest, Romania this November or December and you fancy getting a bit of Christmas vibe, check out this amazing Christmas markets.

  1.  Christmas market in the Constitution Square

Already with a few years tradition, this is going to be the biggest Christmas Market in Romania. It will have the grand opening on November 29 and, besides the traditional food, mulled wine and souvenirs you will also be able to experience a Carousel, Panoramic Wheel, traditional carols and other concerts from local performers.

Location: Constitution Square, in front of the Palace of the Parliament

Duration: November 29 – December 26

2.  West Side Christmas Market

Care to explore other areas of Bucharest, outside the city center? Then this market is for you! Organized in the beautiful park, in the Drumul Taberei neighborhood, the 4^th edition of this market promises unforgettable winter experiences, lots of activities for families and children, carols, an ice-skating rink and Santa’s House.

Location: Drumul Taberei Park

Duration: November 28 – December 27

  3.  Laminor Winter Wonderland

2024 brings a new edition of this Christmas market in a surprising venue. A former industrial area is currently being transformed into a winter wonderland. The market offers a lot of opportunities to discover traditional food, concerts, activities for children, fairy tale characters and many more.

Location: Hala Laminor, Basarabia Boulevard 256 (Metro Station Republica)

Duration: November 29 – January 2^nd

Besides these big markets, a lot of events are taking place over the weekend, this time of year. One of these events is the Gingerbread Fair III, organized in the backyard of the Natural History Museum.
